Dr Ilze Ivane is a surgical otolaryngologist who consults both children and adults and, when necessary, also provides surgical treatment. In her work, she particularly values thorough diagnostics and an individual approach to every patient in order to understand the precise cause of the health problem and choose the most appropriate treatment strategy.
She performs a range of ear, nose and throat operations, including adenoidectomy, tonsillotomy and tonsillectomy, as well as nasal septum, turbinate and paranasal sinus surgery. During consultations, she considers it important to explain the diagnosis, available treatment options and next steps in language the patient can understand, so that the patient feels safe throughout treatment and understands why a particular solution has been chosen.
