Otolaryngologist consultation

otolaryngologist consultation

€60
20 min

An otolaryngologist, or ENT specialist, diagnoses and treats diseases of the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck in both adults and children.

During the consultation, the doctor evaluates your symptoms, performs the necessary examination, and uses additional diagnostic methods when needed to identify the cause and create the right treatment plan.

An ENT consultation is recommended if you notice:

  • Nasal symptoms: long-term nasal blockage, chronic runny nose, reduced sense of smell, facial pressure, mouth breathing, snoring, breathing pauses during sleep, visible nasal growths, or nosebleeds.
  • Ear symptoms: pain, itching, discharge, pressure, blockage, pulsation, reduced hearing, tinnitus, or visible lesions around the ear.
  • Throat and pharynx symptoms: sore throat, difficulty swallowing, voice changes, hoarseness, a lump sensation in the throat, frequent acute tonsillitis, tonsil debris, or growths in the mouth and throat.
  • For children: persistent mouth breathing, a blocked nose, constant nasal discharge, reduced hearing, speech development concerns, or marked nasal obstruction during colds.

Timely diagnosis helps identify the cause more precisely and start the right treatment.

How to prepare for an ENT consultation?

First step

Bring previous test results, laboratory findings, and CT images if you have them.

Second step

Do not use nasal drops or sprays for 2 to 4 hours before the visit unless your doctor has told you otherwise.

What will you receive at the end of the consultation?
